Service Description
ADULTS POTTERY WHEEL & GLAZING CLASS is our most popular class and the best art therapy in town! Your clay dreams will become a reality as you patiently learn how to throw forms on the pottery wheel using white low fire clay. Gretchen will also teach you any necessary hand building techniques, for instance: handles for mugs, slabs for platters, coils for animal bowls or carving decorative surfaces. Finally, your clay forms will be painted with colorful glazes and made food safe for years of enjoyment! FIRING Your pottery will dry and be fired-up to 2,000 degrees (cone 04-06), and returned back to you within two weeks (shipping services available). GLAZING CLASS This class also teaches multiple glazing techniques using underglazes, crystal and earthy experimental glazes.
